This topic helps a manager clearly define his/her role within an organization. Too often managers are promoted or brought in without the knowledge and skills to be successful. This workshop covers the difference between leadership and management, vision, empowerment, communication, trust, personal productivity, and delegation. Each participant will identify where they are clear and where they need further information and the specific skills necessary to manage effectively. Creation of an individual development plan that takes into account all the skill areas is a practical product of this workshop.
