Mentoring
Impact on the Organization
Corporate mentoring has traditionally relied upon spontaneous mentoring to identify high-potential employees and guide them in to the realm of management. Hoping that mentoring “will just happen” is no longer enough. Mentoring can provide an effective tool for communicating corporate goals and values, as well as the knowledge transfer of critical skills.
Mentoring is a continuing professional development relationship between two people in which the person of greater expertise or experience counsels, guides and coaches the less experienced individual both professionally and personally.
