At a time when resources are stretched to the limit, organizations
must fully tap the skills and abilities of each and every worker.
The critical first step is for the leaders and all workers to
recognize and understand diversity and how it can affect communication
and teamwork. These skills enable the leader and the team to
achieve maximum productivity.

- Discover how our perceptions and images
affect our behavior in the workplace.
Identify resources, tools and strategies to help us deal
more effectively with each other.
- Develop a plan to utilize
differences to create a more productive team.
- Identify what
constitutes harassment and practice the coaching that
is necessary to stop it.
Program Description
This module will give participants an opportunity to recognize
the positive elements of having a diverse workforce. Participants
will explore their differences discuss the value of respecting
these differences and how, when put together as a group, these
differences enhance their company's ability to better service
the customer. Participants will concentrate on developing techniques
for managing a diverse workforce in order to maximize resources
and capitalize on these differences. Additionally, participants will discuss the elements of harassment and identify ways to ensure that it does not occur in the workplace.
