In today’s fast-paced business climate, leaders must adapt
their leadership and communication styles to meet the needs of
the situation. Having set the vision and direction of the organization,
today’s effective leader draws from a menu of approaches
for inspiring the workforce and increasing involvement and "ownership" at
all levels. Confidence and trust in the leader depend entirely
on the manner in which the leader approaches the team; they will
observe and assess each and every behavior and communication
looking for the consistency of message and behavior.

Program Description
This module focuses on the development of a working knowledge
of the leadership styles that enhance productivity and profitability,
and places an emphasis on understanding ways to gain employee
involvement and trust. Leadership and communication styles are
explored through the use of assessments that can be expanded
to include 360° feedback. Participants identify characteristics
of effective leaders. The importance of providing direction and
vision to the people they manage is also discussed.
