Every person has the same 24 hour day as every other person. Why is it that some are able to accomplish so much more in the same amount of time? As our lives get ever busier, taking control of how we spend our time becomes more and more important. Consistently applying techniques of time management, including determining priorities, assessing value, eliminating time wasters, planning, and effective delegation, are have valuable tools in any business leader’s arsenal. The distribution of your time, as well as that of your employees is a critical resource that needs to be extremely well managed.

Program Description
This highly interactive module addresses ways to gain mastery over how you spend your time. Participants discuss assumptions about time, strategies for effective time management, and time management systems. They learn tools to deal with or eliminate procrastination and other time wasters.
Participants investigate effective delegation skills and tools and how to apply them. Setting priorities, planning skills, and creating an action plan for your day are discussed and practiced. Finally, learning to say “no” as part of participants’ time management plan is introduced. Throughout this module, participants interact with the instructor and each other and experience appropriate simulations, exercises, and practice sessions, which are then meaningfully applied to everyday work situations.
