Basic Math
Impact on the Organization
Learning Objectives
Program Description
Before beginning a program in Basic Math, Quest conducts an
assessment to determine the current math level of the group to
be trained. Then we determine the amount of instruction needed
to achieve the desired proficiency level.
The course is then tailored to the needs on the job. Course
length is usually at least 30 hours and possibly more depending
on the current level and objective to be achieved. The usual
schedule is 3 hours at a time.
Our instructor is a very experienced trainer who has taught
Basic Math to other Quest clients.
The textbook "Applied Mathematics" is used.
For these programs to succeed, we find that the individuals
must be committed to learning math. The most successful programs
are mandatory and conducted on company time.
